Support Worker

Day-to-Day Duties of an Agency Support Worker
As an Agency Support Worker, your role will vary depending on the setting and the needs of the individuals you support. You will work across different environments, including residential homes, supported living and community settings, assisting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex care needs.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
• Providing personal care – Assisting with washing, dressing, and hygiene where required
• Promoting independence – Encouraging individuals to develop life skills and make choices
• Supporting with daily activities – Helping with cooking, cleaning, shopping, and social outings
• Emotional and social support – Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations
• Assisting with mobility – Helping individuals move safely, including using hoists and mobility aids
• Medication support – Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans
• Monitoring and reporting – Keeping accurate records of support provided and reporting any concerns to senior staff
• Encouraging participation – Supporting individuals to engage in hobbies, education, employment, or volunteering

What We Need From You:
✔ At least 6 months’ experience as a Support Worker or Care Worker
✔ Care Certificate achieved
✔ Great communication skills and a compassionate approach
✔ Right to work in the UK
